NEW YORK CITY-- A portrait of the late SSG Christian P. Engledrum of the 1st Battalion 69th Infantry ("Fighting 69th") New York Army National Guard is unveiled to his family during a special ceremony aboard the Intrepid Museum in New York City on September 12th, 2009.
The Dallas, TX-based artist and founder of the American Fallen Soldier Project has been painting portraits of fallen service members and is sponsored by American Airlines which has been flying him and the portraits for special presentations around the nation.
