Year of the NCO Recognition

SARATOGA SPRINGS - The Capital District of New York Chapter, Association of the United States Army (AUSA) held its annual dinner at the Saratoga Hilton, Sept. 19.
This year's dinner theme was Year of the NCO and in recognition of that theme, this years winners of the Soldier and NCO of the Year were recognized for their achievements.
Among those were Staff Sgt. Tiffany Streit, 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade training NCO. She was recognized for her selection as the Active Guard and Reserve Soldier of the year for NY. Also, recognized for their outstanding achievemnts were two Traditional Guardsmen, Staff Sgt. Morgan Cady, 104th Military Police Battalion and Spc. Sebastian McClendon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry.
Presenting Streit with a plaque, coin and hat from AUSA are (from left), NY State Sgt. Maj. Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Van Pelt, Maj.(Ret.) Ed Keyrouze, President CD-NY Chapter and Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Robert Rose, Vice President, Region 1 AUSA.
