Guard Soldiers Volunteer to Train New Leaders

QUEENSBURY -- Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Cadet Tracy Pauquette, right, directs New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Adam Barber where to establish security following a mock attack during training Oct. 23. The two were part of a field training exercise at the Soldier Readiness Center here to prepare cadets from the State University of New York Adirondack Community College for future leadership roles.

Six Army National Guard Soldiers from the Glens Falls area volunteered their time to support the cadet training, acting as squad leaders or infantrymen for the officers-in-training.
