Keeping Things Running at Fort Drum

FORT DRUM--New York National Guard Sgt. Jason Beckwith services a 10 K generator during 27th Brigade Combat Team training on the Standardized Integrated Command Post System conducted at Fort Drum the weekend of Nov. 5-6.
Training on the new system required brigade soldiers to learn how to set up new improved DRASH (Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter) tents, and operate new communications systems, computers and support equipment.
The brigade is schedule to deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012.
