CAB Soldier of the Year Competition

LATHAM - Thirteen Soldiers participated in this years Soldier/Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of the Year board at the State headquarters in Latham on Feb. 11-12. The Soldiers represented various units within the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade.

Winners in each of three categories were: Rose-NCO of the Year, Torres-Bonilla-Active Guard and Reserve Soldier of the Year and Jelis-Soldier of the Year. Each winner will receive an Army Commendation medal from the 42 CAB.
The winners will participate against more New York Army National Guard Soldiers in the State-level Soldier/NCO of the Year board next month.
