105th Puts New Skills to the Test

STEWART ANGB NEWBURGH, N.Y. -New York Air National Guard maintainers belonging to the 105th Airlift Wing watch a 17 Globemaster III, taxi out for a late morning flight Oct. 19, 2012.Only 15 months after beginning conversion to the Globemaster III, Stewart aircrew, aircraft maintainers, and logistics readiness airmen generated four C-17 aircraft launches in a 3.5 hour window late Friday morning, 19, October 2012. Of seven unit possessed aircraft, six were flying airlift for the Department of Defense highlighting the training and capabilities of the 105th Airlift Wing.
